The year 2022 will enter the world history as a year of global disturbances and geopolitical instability. For the Republic of Belarus, this year is certainly difficult and stressful, it has also become a period of new opportunities, a stage in the development of new vectors of foreign economic activity.

The expansion of supplies, primarily of high-tech products, the diversification of sales markets and the expansion of the geography of Belarusian export in general, the sale of products with high added value remain the most important priorities. In modern conditions, the trend towards optimizing logistics chains is of exceptional importance both when purchasing raw materials and components, and when exporting finished products from domestic manufacturers. A significant increase in the share of logistics costs in the production cost often requires a radical revision of marketing policy.

A number of enterprises presented in our publication are not only business cards of the branches of the national economy, but also a clear example of effective management. By implementing large-scale technical re-equipment programs, they are reaching a qualitatively new technological level, expanding the nomenclature and geography of export supplies. Supplies of agricultural products to foreign markets have reached record volumes this year: the investments provided in the agro-industrial complex have not only made it possible to ensure the country’s food security, but have also become one of the most important items of Belarusian export.

The publication of the current edition of “EXPORTofby Belarusian Exporters” catalog reflects the trend towards expanding regional cooperation and increasing the role of direct contacts between the regions of the Republic of Belarus and foreign countries. With the support of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the project of publishing the supplement “Exporters of Minsk - 2022” was implemented for the first time. We are sure that the products of the capital’s enterprises presented on its pages will be competitive and in demand.
