The Academy is the oldest institution of higher education in our country and has a status of major educational institution of the Republic of Belarus in the sphere of agricultural education.

There are the following fields of study in the Academy: veterinary medicine (specialization: gynecology and biotechnology in animal breeding, veterinary bacteriology and bacteriophagology, avian diseases, veterinary biochemistry, small animal diseases, swine diseases), animal science (specialization: pedigree livestock, primary processing technology of livestock products, poultry breeding), veterinary sanitary science and expert evaluation; veterinary pharmacy.

Foreign applicants are enrolled to full-time education as per interview results for Russian, chemistry, biology. If necessary these subjects can be studied at full-time pre-entry courses and after examinations have been passed the students are enrolled to the Academy.

The students who successfully graduated from the academy may continue their education in the magistracy, graduate course and doctoral candidacy.
